In the clouds

I had always wondered if I'd ever get another opportunity to capture Liverpool shrouded in fog again. 'Rise Above' was the photograph that sparked my photography career, and it has proven very rare to have a cloud inversion over the city on such a bright morning. In December 2021 I was very fortunate to capture this scene, as the fog/clouds slowly dispersed towards the Mersey. The textured nature of the fine art paper adds realism to this minimal composition. A truly stunning print of an unforgettable morning.
